Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Bhfield Academy (the “Academy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the online training platform operated by Behavioral Health Field, Inc., the parent practice known as BH Field. By creating an account, redeeming a voucher, purchasing a course, or otherwise using the Academy, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Academy.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Academy. When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorization.

Description of the service

The Academy provides online professional training, including self-paced courses, lessons, assessments, and certificates of completion. We are an independent training provider. We are not the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), we are not affiliated with or endorsed by the BACB, and we do not grant the RBT credential or any other professional certification.

Enrollment and access

When you enroll in a course — whether by purchase or by redeeming a voucher — we grant you a personal, non-transferable, limited license to access that course’s content for your own learning. Access may be subject to a time window or other conditions described at the point of enrollment. Your access is for you alone and may not be shared.

Payments, pricing, and refunds

Course prices are shown at checkout and are charged through our payment provider, Stripe. You agree to provide valid payment information and authorize us (through Stripe) to charge the applicable amount. Some courses may be made available through vouchers issued by an employer, partner, or by BH Field; voucher terms are described where the voucher is redeemed.

Refunds. You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided you have completed less than 25% of the course; approved refunds are typically processed within 3 business days. To request a refund, contact us using the details below. Some purchases may be non-refundable where stated at the time of purchase.

Certificates of completion

When you complete the requirements of a course, the Academy may issue a certificate of completion. A certificate of completion documents that you finished the training on our platform. It is not the official RBT credential. The RBT credential is granted only by the BACB, after you separately meet the BACB’s own requirements — which may include a competency assessment, a background check, an application, and a passing score on the BACB’s examination. Completing a course on the Academy does not guarantee that you will obtain any credential.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• share your account or login credentials with anyone else;
• copy, record, redistribute, resell, or publicly post course content, in whole or in part;
• cheat on, manipulate, or attempt to circumvent assessments, quizzes, or progress tracking;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform, other accounts, or our systems; or
• use the Academy for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these rules or that we reasonably believe is harmful to the Academy, its learners, or our team.

Intellectual property

All course content, materials, text, video, graphics, branding, and software made available through the Academy are owned by BH Field or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Your enrollment grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the content for your own learning only. No other rights are granted, and all rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Disclaimers

The Academy and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We do not guarantee any particular outcome from using the Academy, including obtaining a certification, passing any examination, or securing employment.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BH Field and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Academy. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to the Academy is limited to the amount you paid us for the course giving rise to the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the Academy at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. On termination, the licenses granted to you end, though provisions that by their nature should survive — such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will continue to apply.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Academy will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in that state, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Academy after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
